10 Healthy habits for a healthier and happier lifestyle

10 Simple Habits :

  1. Wake up one hour earlier. Unless you’re waking up at 12 PM (in which case, you’ve got a bit of work to do), just waking up earlier can give you more time to be productive and keep your energy levels high throughout the day.

  2. Make your bed as soon as you wake up. It may seem simple, but making your bed sets the tone for your day. A tidy space subconsciously helps you feel more organized and motivated. Plus, it’s always nice to come back to a made bed at the end of a long day.

  3. Hydrate in the morning. Start your day with lemon water, green tea, or chia seeds in lukewarm water if you’re trying to lose weight. This helps replenish lost nutrients and boosts hydration. If you’re a coffee lover, try waiting at least an hour and a half before your caffeine fix to avoid that mid-day crash.

  4. Journal daily. Journaling can be a game-changer, but it’s tough to keep up with every day. Instead of journaling daily, try making a to-do list and journaling when you feel the need to vent or reflect on your thoughts.

  5. Change up your workspace. Whether you’re studying or working, changing your environment can help spark creativity. Try working at a café, park, or anywhere outside of your usual spot. It’s refreshing and might even lead to new social connections.

  6. Workout. I never miss a workout—it’s one of the most important parts of my day. Whether it’s hitting the gym, doing Pilates, yoga, or trying something new, it’s a great way to get a dopamine boost. Having a goal in mind can make the gym more fun, so don’t hesitate to ask trainers for help. I’ll also share some beginner workout plans soon if you need them!

  7. Put away your phone before bed. This is a tough one for many of us, but it’s crucial. Instead of scrolling endlessly, try doing something relaxing like skincare, reading a book, or listening to a podcast. (I’ll be sharing some exciting ones soon, so stay tuned!) Putting your phone down helps you sleep better and wake up more energized.

  8. Have one reset day a week. I recommend setting aside one day—like Sunday—to clean your space and plan for the week ahead. It’s a simple habit that helps you feel more organized and ready to take on the new week. A clean space really does equal a clear mind.

  9. Go on hot girl walks or hang out with loved ones. Walking is a low-intensity way to get moving and clear your mind. Plus, spending time with friends or family is a fun way to stay connected and recharge.

  10. Treat yourself. Self-care is essential. It doesn’t have to be anything extravagant—buy yourself flowers, take a pottery class, visit a museum, or enjoy some alone time. You deserve to treat yourself just as much as anyone else would.

Remember: I won’t lie and say I do all of these habits perfectly 24/7—I don’t. That’s why they’re habits, not tasks you do every single day. There will be days when you don’t feel like doing them, and that’s okay. The goal is to make these habits part of your lifestyle, not your entire life. I hope this helps, and if you haven’t checked out my other blogs yet, what are you waiting for? Join the fam and stay tuned for my next blogs and podcasts!
